Experience supporting Workday in a post-production or AMS environment is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform impact analysis for configuration changes, business process updates, and Workday releases, proactively identifying risks and recommending system and process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and audits to support operational and leadership reporting needs.
  • Provide post-production and optimization support by troubleshooting, conducting root-cause analysis, and implementing sustainable solutions to ensure system stability and accuracy.
  • Support testing activities including unit testing, end-to-end payroll validation, parallel testing, and regression testing to ensure accurate results.
  • Train and mentor junior consultants and provide guidance on Workday methodologies
  • Stay current on new Workday releases and industry trends to ensure solutions remain cutting-edge.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders through proactive communication, clear status reporting, and consistent delivery of high-quality outcomes.
  • Produce clear, consistent, and high-quality documentation, including configuration workbooks, process flows, test scripts, and operational guides, in alignment with organizational standards.
  • Quickly learn and adapt to new tools, integrations, and client-specific systems required to support projects.
  • Support business development efforts through proposal writing and thought leadership.

Key Requirements:

  • 3+ years of hands-on Workday HCM experience in a consulting, implementation, or post-production support environment.
  • Demonstrated experience configuring and supporting Workday HCM functionality in a production environment.
  • Strong understanding of Workday business processes, configuration, security, reporting, and system dependencies.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex Workday issues and performing root-cause analysis.
  • Experience supporting Workday releases and assessing the impact of new functionality on existing client configurations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues and develop sustainable solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with client stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities, client requests, and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with consulting and client teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with clients and operate effectively in a client-facing consulting environment.
